Tales from the unexpected
Our family enjoyed a fantastic adventure filled with beautiful grounds and a stunning infinity pool. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home. The excursions were thrilling, but be prepared for some travel time to reach them! Dining was hit or miss, with a few overpriced options.

stunning pool area, tropical garden views, vibrant themes in dining establishments
The furniture in the rooms could use an update!!! The bikes offered for guest use were poorly maintained, making them quite unusable. The lack of toiletries in the convenience store was frustrating too!!!

What they got right and wrong
The pool was stunning, and the multiple dining options offered excellent cuisine, especially at the Tamarine restaurant, where dietary needs were well accommodated.
The high food prices were shocking, with simple items costing far too much. the location was quite remote, making exploration challenging.

my previous stay in tamarindo was enjoyable, but this time at marriott really surpassed my expectations. the garden view room was spacious with a lovely balcony, and the pool was the most gorgeous i’ve ever seen. the dining options were top-notch, especially the breakfast buffet with freshly baked croissants and a wide selection of organic juices.
the bikes for guests needed maintenance.

Service stood out, with friendly staff and excellent dining options. The Bernese sausages were particularly delicious. However, cocktail strength was disappointing, and the pool area could benefit from designated sections for adults and families. Dinner at Sabanero was enjoyable, though a bit uneven in execution.

The beautiful infinity pool was seriously the highlight of my stay! I could swim as I hit the gym, and the cocktails at the bar were also a nice touch. But, some furniture felt worn out. 😬

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful resort. The service was excellent, especially with accommodating our dietary needs. The multiple dining options were a highlight, particularly the delightful Tamarine restaurant. Also, the coffee and ice cream shop made for perfect morning treats. The property is kept impeccably clean and is surrounded by stunning nature, which we loved exploring.
The only downside was not having major attractions nearby since we primarily stayed at the resort.

Had an amazing time with friends at this beachfront resort! We enjoyed the stunning infinity pool and participated in fun activities like yoga classes and nature walks. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the staff were super friendly. If you're into adventures, consider white water rafting nearby for a unique experience.
The only downside was that it took a while to reach some attractions due to traffic, especially when heading into town.
